At Artistic Horizon, we pride ourselves in giving individuals a safe space to express themselves. We work with various artistic levels to compose a piece that they are proud of. Artistic Horizon instructors give direction and support, but the final piece is up to each individual. Our mission is to give every individual the opportunity to make their own choices; their own masterpiece.
OUR STORY
Artistic Horizon is a community of artists and students working side-by-side in a friendly environment that encourages and inspires artistic growth. We believe everyone has an artist inside them, looking to express himself and we want to help you find your artistic voice. Artistic Horizon was founded by Michele Rivera for individuals who have an intellectual or mental health disability to have a place to express themselves artistically. Today, Jordan Taylor organizes classes and works within organizations to provide art education and workshops. Please get in touch today to learn more about what we can offer!
OUR MISSION
Artistic Horizon provides a supportive, invigorating, arts-based educational program to facilitate learning and growth in the community. Some of the benefits of engaging in creative activities are providing nonverbal forms of communication and expression, activating the senses, focusing attention, improving cognition, leads to self-expression and self-discovery and reducing stress, fear and anxiety. We are pleased to be able to offer classes that offer such a benefit.
